Quantum has helped Greater Manchester Combined Authority deliver nine engagement workshops to shape the outcomes and delivery plans for their Local Nature Recovery Plan.
Five local authorities are piloting the development of Local Nature Recovery Strategies for Defra. Using Zoom and Miro, the first four online interactive workshops helped people tell us what Nature in Greater Manchester needs to recover. This can be by creating, expanding or improving habitat. We then followed up with Delivery Plan workshops to work out how to make that happen. It was a pleasure running workshops online, that actually had some of the buzz of a real life event. The expertise and passion of people contributing was remarkable, their input will shape the plan that is now being finalised.
“Quantum Strategy & Technology were instrumental in shaping and running our engagement process. Under challenging and often changing requirements Louise was able to find a solution and deliver it with ease and energy. Running an online engagement process that would usually be delivered face-to-face and in a very short space of time was always going to be difficult, but Louise ensured we got what we needed and kept our Stakeholders happy.” Jon Grace, Project Manager – Local Nature Recovery Strategy, GMCA.
